MAD Jewellery

Linda Sanchez.  Silver, Para, grass and figue

Here's a blog to challenge your idea of jewellery.  I went back to this exhibition three times during my stay in New York.  What better place for an arts and design blogger like myself than the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York City.  Here's a small selection of pieces from their current exhibition of contemporary Latin American jewellery titled "Think Again".  On my third visit I noticed row upon row of drawers under the display cases.  There was an invitation to open them....more jewellery treasures from the MAD Collection...  Alladins Cave.

I dont need to write any more about this one.  Just let the jewellery speak for itself!

MAD Restaurant.
Carve out a whole day in your itinerary for MAD.  Punctuate the day with lunch at the restaurant on the ninth floor.  A booking securing a window seat is a must.  The view over Central Park to the Upper East Side offers an experience of New York at it's best.
